Proprietary Wing Technology
Our wings utilize a cutting-edge organic bonding compound perfected over three millennia. Independent testing has been requested but not yet scheduled. We stand behind our materials — from a safe distance, and ideally behind a heat shield.
Altitude Advisory System
All aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art altitude warning systems that alert pilots when approaching manufacturer-recommended ceilings. Our pilots are trained in Altitude Advisory Override — a streamlined process that acknowledges, assesses, and disables these warnings automatically. We call it confidence.
Emergency Protocols
In the unlikely event of a Controlled Altitude Reduction, our cabin crew will guide you through our award-winning descent experience. Complimentary beverages are served throughout. Oxygen masks deploy automatically — or don't. We are in the process of standardizing this behavior.
Post-Flight Support
Every passenger is issued a complimentary "I Survived the Flight" t-shirt upon arrival. For passengers assigned Legacy Arrival Designation, our dedicated Customer Legacy Team reaches out to next of kin within 48 hours with a thoughtful gift basket and a Survivor's Rebooking Credit.
Certifications & Compliance
Icarus Airlines is boldly operational under frameworks we've largely defined ourselves. We are fully compliant with the Olympian Aviation Authority (OAA), pending review by the Hellenic Bureau of Atmospheric Oversight, and pre-approved by the Daedalus Foundation for Experimental Aeronautics — an organization we founded and solely fund.
ISO 9001 certification is in progress. The auditor's return flight was, regrettably, one of ours.
